Presented by:
Beth Steinhorn, President of VQ Volunteer Strategies

Tools to Engage Volunteer Leaders

If you want to move from “doing it all” to getting it done,” engaging volunteer leaders is your path to success. When we engage volunteers to lead teams, projects, and initiatives, we model the change we want to see and free up paid staff to do the work for which they are uniquely qualified.

Join guest presenter Beth Steinhorn, President of VQ Volunteer Strategies, to hear case studies of successful volunteer leaders and gain strategies to turn barriers into benefits. Plus, take advantage of tools to help you invest in the leadership development of some of your rising volunteer stars.

What you’ll learn:

  • How to articulate the benefits of engaging volunteer leaders
  • Assess needs to identify new potential leader positions
  • Identify traits of potential leaders
  • Reflect on the benefits and barriers to effective delegation

Dear Colleague,

Over the last year, we have endured and learned so much as we provided support and care to people across the country in the areas of mental, emotional and spiritual health. At Vibrant, our goal is to build a society in which emotional wellness can be a reality for everyone.  A part of that is championing learning and sharing of best practices – for the wellbeing of all.

That is why we are pleased to announce our upcoming symposium on June 16+17:

COVID-19 + RESILIENCE: SYMPOSIUM ON MENTAL, EMOTIONAL, AND SPIRITUAL CARE DISCOVERIES IN A PANDEMIC.

This event is hosted by Vibrant’s Crisis Emotional Care Team – a cadre of volunteer professional emotional support providers who respond to crises and disasters as they arise.

The virtual symposium will feature key learning as we have faced COVID-19 and will highlight how we can continue to advocate for the mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being of others in the face of the ongoing effects of this pandemic.

We are open for submissions for panel contributions through May 10. If you are interested in presenting your observations and findings, we invite you to submit your abstract and objectives via this linked form by 5 PM EST on May 10th.  Our team will advise you of the next steps by May 15th.

Thank you for your consideration and we look forward to hearing from you,

Amy
